The Mulberry Tree
We are now serving our Christmas menu and once again we have a great offering available for you in the Mulberry Tree.
We have all sorts of winter warming dishes including sausages and mash with onion rings or a hearty chicken and mushroom pie. We also have a jacket potato with chilli and cheese, but will also still be serving a ham and cheese ploughman’s, as well as our traditional burgers and pizzas.
We have festive ice creams too; gingerbread and butterscotch, winter berry sorbet, dark chocolate orange and Baylee’s for that festive feeling.
And new for this winter we are serving a milk or white hot chocolate, available with all sorts of toppings to tempt you!

Breakfast, Lunch and Sweet Treats
We change the menu within the Mulberry Tree four times a year, ensuring we are serving food and drinks appropriate to the time of year and this season is no exception.
With filling breakfasts available every day until 11:30am and a variety of appetising lunches to choose from, you won’t be disappointed during your visit.
Whether you visit for breakfast, lunch or simply a scone with a cup of tea, we have something for everyone. We have a large selection of homemade cakes and traybakes this season including a honey and ginger cake and our new banana and toffee cake!
We also have lots of tempting desserts; waffles or pancakes with our homemade ice cream, a banana split or new for this winter an apple or mixed berry crumble with custard.

Alongside Tea and Coffee, we serve a hot spiced apple as well as cold drinks such as a pink lemonade or one of our freshly made juices. We are also introducing a milk or white hot chocolate with all sorts of toppings to tempt you and don’t forget that traditional festive favourite Mulled Wine!

We offer a variety of breakfasts to suit everyone’s palate – whether it’s our traditional gardener’s breakfast, bacon pancakes, smashed avocado on a toasted muffin with either 2 poached eggs (or mushrooms), or our delicious fruit pancakes – there is something for everyone!

Lunch Menu
We will be serving a homemade chicken and mushroom pie as well as a hearty sausages, mash and onion rings alongside our signature smashed burger and our firm favourite ham, egg and chips. We will also be serving a healthier broccoli and cheese crustless quiche on our main lunch menu.

Our light lunches include toasted ciabattas, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads and soup. This Christmas we will be serving a jacket potato with chilli and cheese as well as a chicken and stuffing ciabatta or a fresh ham and cheese ploughman’s.

Sweet Treats Menu
We serve our traditional homemade scones, cake slices and traybakes all day as well as sundaes, waffles and scoops of ice cream from our gelato bar.

Feeling peckish? Then take a Sip and grab a Scoop at our Sip & Scoop café outside The Mulberry Tree.
We are changing some of our 20 gelato flavours so they are fit for summer too, Eton Mess, Honeycomb, Biscoff, Coffee and Blueberry Yoghurt to name just a few, but don’t worry we are still serving our classics; Salted Caramel, Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Rum & Raisin.

The Chatty Café Scheme
9am – 12pm, Monday – Friday
Ruxley Manor is proud to be offering the chatty Café scheme. From 9 – 12pm Monday to Friday the 3 tables outside the Sip and Scoop will be dedicated to customers who are happy to sit and talk to other customers and meet people from far and wide, from all walks of life. Have some interesting conversations and share laughter with each other!

Garden Centre Restaurant, 2023
We are thrilled to announce that the Mulberry Tree restaurant was awarded Best Destination Garden Centre Restaurant for 2023 in the UK by the Garden Centre Association (GCA) at their January awards ceremony. We couldn’t have done it without our loyal, wonderful customers, so thank you from all of us!

We offer a range of alcoholic drinks including (but not limited to) beers, wines and cocktails. For alcohol orders we operate
the Challenge 25 Policy at The Mulberry Tree, so if ordering alcohol, please be ready with photo ID.
Events Room for Hire
Our beautifully decorated Events Room can be closed off from the main restaurant in The Mulberry Tree and is available for hire.
We have hosted baby showers and numerous wakes in the room. We serve our beautiful afternoon teas on big platters for your guests to help themselves to or on either individual platters at the table.
