Its Official: We're the Best Garden Centre in the UK!

In January 2026, Ruxley Manor attended the annual Garden Centre Association (GCA) awards for 2025. After many years of being close to winning, we are finally delighted to announce that we were awarded the coveted 1st place in “Best Destination Garden Centre in the UK 2025” by the GCA and we were also ranked the number 1 garden centre overall in the UK across the 3 size categories of local garden centre, garden centre and destination garden centre.

A night to remember...

On a record-breaking night for Ruxley Manor, we were awarded 1st place in eight separate award categories;

  • 1st place in Best Destination Garden Centre in the UK
  • 1st place for Catering Excellence for Best Destination Garden Centre Restaurant in the UK - 3rd year running!
  • 1st place for Best Food Hall/Farm Shop at a Destination Centre in the UK
  • 1st place for The Barton Grange Trophy for Commercial Innovation and Creativity UK
  • 1st Place Indoor Lifestyle at a Destination Centre in the UK
  • 1st Place Best Clothing at a Destination Centre in the UK
  • 1st Place Outdoor Living Award at a Destination Centre in the UK
  • 1st Place Garden Products Award at a Destination Centre in the UK

We also placed in the top 3 places in a further four categories, including

  • 2nd Place Best Pots & Outdoor Ornamentation (Stoneware) at a Destination Centre in the UK
  • 2nd Place in Garden Construction (Landscape) at a Destination Centre in the UK
  • 3rd Indoor Plants at a Destination Centre in the UK
  • 3rd Place Ruxley Rose for Outdoor Plants at a Destination Centre in the UK

All of these awards give us something to be immensely proud of. Being awarded the title of Best Garden Centre in the UK is the culmination of years of hard work and dedication, all of which is down to the incredible team members we have here at Ruxley Manor without whom none of this success would have been possible.  We now look forward to maintaining the high standards that have brought about this success throughout 2026 and beyond!
